About Us

Leading the future of tech‑enabled movement and digital health

Wave Company develops silicone-based smart textile technologies that turn everyday apparel into body sensors — enabling camera-free movement tracking, haptic feedback, and AI-driven digital health.

Our proprietary silicone platforms — ElecSil, and TracSil — embed sensing, support, and actuation directly into fabric without rigid hardware. From kinesiology compression wear and electro-haptic training suits to AI fitness coaching, we give brands, clinics, and research partners the textile computing layer they need to build the next generation of wearable products.

What we bring to partners:
• Medical-grade stretchable electrodes for EMG, motion capture, and vital-sign monitoring
• Taping-integrated compression technology with 8+ years of sports medicine R&D
• Camera-free movement tracking sensors (TracSil) with real-time angle and gait data
• CES 2024 Innovation Award-winning digital health platform (TracME)
• End-to-end support from textile computing development to scalable garment manufacturing

What We Do

We build the textile computing layer between body and data. Our silicone-on-fabric systems give garments the ability to sense, respond, and communicate — replacing bulky wearable devices with a second skin.

Our Founder

Nancy Cho, CEO & Founder

LinkedIn

Nancy Cho is a lifelong runner who turned chronic back pain into a company. After years of relying on kinesiology tape and physical therapy sessions that were effective but impossible to maintain daily, she asked one question: what if the tape could be built into the clothing itself?

That question led to Wave Company's first patent in adhesive bio-silicone — and eventually to an entire platform of textile computing technologies (AlignX, ElecSil, TracSil) that embed sensing, support, and actuation into fabric. Since launching WaveWear in 2018, she has led the company's evolution from functional sportswear into textile computing and AI-driven digital health, earning a CES Innovation Award along the way.
