2025 Black Yak Club Day Trail Run Challenge – WaveWear Was There Too! ✨

Hello everyone, this is Wave Company! 👋

Today, we’d like to share a very special experience with you.

On September 27th, did you know that the 2025 Black Yak Club Day Trail Run Challenge took place?

The Black Yak Club Day first started last year and has now become an annual trail running event.

It’s a true festival for runners — a chance to test endurance while running through mountain trails and nature, and to share the joy of running together!

This year, the race featured a variety of courses, welcoming everyone from beginners to experienced runners. The passion and energy of the participants were absolutely incredible 🔥

Of course, WaveWear couldn’t miss out on such an event, right?!

We joined the challenge by running a booth, and the atmosphere was so amazing that we couldn’t wait to share it with you 😆

We put a lot of effort into setting up our booth the day before the event!

It was completely empty at first, but we managed to decorate it quite nicely, don’t you think?! 😄

From early in the morning, trail runners gathered at the starting line.Even before the race began, they were cheering each other on, and after crossing the finish line, they shared smiles and stories. It really made me think, “This is exactly the beauty of sports!”

WaveWear didn’t just set up a simple display booth —we prepared a special event where runners could experience our very own AI trainer, TracME!

And the name of the event was…

How the Event Worked

1️⃣ Add TracMe as a friend on KakaoTalk.

2️⃣ Wear the TracMe sleeve and measure your arm and leg angles.

3️⃣ Receive a SmartShake bottle or Wave Sports Cream as a gift 🎁

TracMe is a smartwear-based fitness data analysis service that we’re currently developing.

To make its features more accurate, we need real movement data from runners.

That’s why, at the event, we measured participants’ arm and leg angles,and as a thank-you for adding TracMe on KakaoTalk, we gave out a SmartShake bottle or Wave Sports Cream to everyone who joined in. 😄

Some participants were amazed, saying things like,

“Wow, so that’s how my arm and leg angles look?!” 🤩

The event giveaways — the SmartShake bottle and Wave Sports Cream — were also a big hit!(And yes, both the SmartShake bottle and Wave Sports Cream are also available separately on the official WaveWear online store 😉)

Thanks to the incredible turnout, WaveWear was able to hit our goal!! 💙

Collecting real runner data will be a huge help in further developing TracMe.

We’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all the runners who actively joined our event. 😊

But of course, it wasn’t just about the event booth!

We also showcased a variety of WaveWear’s silicone taping products alongside TracMe.

At the booth, we showcased must-haves for any running event — knee sleeves, calf sleeves, and arm sleeves — along with WaveWear’s steady-selling sportswear collection.

Since this was a trail running race, all of the support gear drew huge attention! 🚀

Runners were especially interested in injury prevention and recovery, so many took the time to carefully check out the products, try them on for sizing, and even made plenty of purchases right at the booth 🙏💙

The biggest feature that sets WaveWear apart from other sportswear is, of course, the silicone taping! 👀

Normally, athletes apply taping separately before exercising.But with WaveWear, kinesiology sports taping is built directly into the inside of the garment using silicone taping.

we couldn’t help but feel proud 😊.

And there was more —we also met runners who had already come to the race wearing WaveWear sleeves and supports.

Hearing words like “I wear it all the time,” and “These supports are really great” 

filled with so much love for WaveWear was truly moving.

Seeing it firsthand at the event honestly brought tears to our eyes 😭.

The 2025 Black Yak Club Day was a truly meaningful experience for us.

We were able to collect valuable runner data to further develop TracMe,and also received a lot of interest by showcasing our different silicone taping products 😊.
