Bangkok, Thailand — [BioTimes] Wave Company, an innovation leader in the convergence of sports technology and healthcare, announced on the 5th that it will participate in GITEX DIGI HEALTH & BIOTECH Thailand 2025, taking place in Bangkok from September 10 to 12.
At the exhibition, Wave Company will showcase its flagship product, TracMe, a smartwear-based motion recognition and coaching platform. Notably, the company will unveil on the global stage an innovative motion recognition technology powered by TracSil™, its independently developed silicone sensor material, instead of the conventional inertial measurement unit (IMU) approach.
TracMe is a next-generation healthtech solution that can precisely recognize human movements without the use of cameras, presenting a new methodology that overcomes the limitations of existing wearables.
Traditional IMU-based wearables often suffer from inconsistent recognition accuracy depending on placement, as well as discomfort during prolonged use. By contrast, Wave Company’s TracSil™ technology integrates flexible silicone strain sensors into fabric structures, converting subtle deformations caused by body movement into electrical signals. This enables users to obtain highly accurate motion data without cameras or complex hardware—offering significant advantages in terms of privacy protection and practicality.
This differentiation allows TracMe to expand far beyond simple activity tracking into areas such as sports training, physical therapy and rehabilitation, elderly gait monitoring, and remote healthcare services. In particular, Asia and Southeast Asia are experiencing rapid growth in demand for digital healthcare due to aging populations and rising lifestyle-related diseases. TracMe’s data-driven coaching and management capabilities are expected to create strong synergies with local healthcare infrastructures.
GITEX DIGI HEALTH & BIOTECH brings together global digital health and biotech companies, investors, and medical institutions. More than 14,000 visitors and experts from over 75 countries are expected to attend this year’s event.
Through this exhibition, Wave Company aims to highlight the technological excellence and market scalability of TracMe with TracSil™, while actively pursuing opportunities for global R&D collaborations, partnerships, and investment.
A Wave Company representative stated, “TracSil is not just a new material—it is a platform technology that opens new possibilities for the wearable healthcare industry. With TracMe, we present a next-generation motion recognition solution that does not rely on cameras or IMUs, and we will lead innovation in the digital healthcare market together with global partners.”
By participating in GITEX DIGI HEALTH & BIOTECH Thailand 2025, Wave Company is expected to clearly demonstrate its strategic roadmap—from material innovation to wearable and digital healthcare platforms—further solidifying its presence in the global market.
