How TracSil™ Smart Textile Sensors Accurately Measure Joint Angles: watch the video!

Reliable wearable technology starts with rigorous sensor testing.

At Wave Company, we believe trust in smart wearable devices is built long before a product reaches users. This testing video showcases an internal validation process designed to evaluate the performance of TracSil™, our proprietary conductive smart textile sensor, developed for real-time motion tracking and joint angle measurement.

🔹 What is being tested?

This is not the final TracMe app, but a custom-built internal testing application used to verify:

  • Real-time responsiveness of wearable motion sensors

  • Bluetooth stability during continuous movement

  • Precision of joint angle detection during repetitive motion

The TracSil™ sensor is embedded directly into the TracMe Supporter, allowing physical movement to be converted into real-time electrical signals without bulky motion capture systems or external cameras.

🔹 Why this matters

Traditional motion capture systems rely on cameras, markers, or rigid hardware.

In contrast, smart textile-based sensors like TracSil™ enable natural, continuous movement tracking directly on the body.

This approach is essential for future applications in:

  • Digital health

  • Rehabilitation technology

  • Sports performance monitoring

  • AI-driven movement analysis

🔹 Key validation focus

During this testing phase, we focus on three core performance metrics essential for wearable sensor reliability:

  1. Real-time responsiveness & Bluetooth stability during live movement

  2. High-precision data capture across repeated joint flexion and extension

  3. Core parameters required for the upcoming TracMe AI motion analysis platform

As shown in the video, TracSil™ reacts instantly to micro-movements, confirming its suitability for high-fidelity motion data collection.

These early-stage validation tests form the foundation for a seamless user experience. Our goal is to translate raw biomechanical motion data into meaningful, user-friendly insights through TracMe.

Stay tuned as we continue to evolve smart textile sensor technology into scalable, real-world digital health solutions.
