The Hyundai E&C Hillstate Volleyball Team has signed a new sponsorship contract with Wave Company, the exclusive domestic importer and distributor for D&M, a brand renowned for its volleyball protective gear. Wave Company, which exclusively imports and supplies the Mikasa V200W, has already secured a ball contract with the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) for three seasons, from the 2023-2024 to the 2025-2026 season.


Founded in 1977 as the Hyundai Women's Volleyball Team, the Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate Volleyball Team boasts a history and brand trust with 10 wins in the President's Cup and Super League, 4 cup victories, 4 regular league first-place finishes, and 2 championship final wins. Currently, in the 2023-24 season's 4th round, they lead the women's volleyball league with a record of 19 wins and 5 losses.


Wave Company owns wavewear, a brand of kinesthesiology sports taping protectors, sleeves, compression wear, and leggings, all domestically produced with proprietary technology. At CES 2024 held in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12, 2024, they showcased 'TracMe,' a self-developed exercise platform compatible with biometric devices, based on their smart textile technology, winning an innovation award.


The D&M brand, exclusively imported and distributed by Wave Company in South Korea, is a favorite among professional volleyball players. Notably, the players of Hyundai E&C Hillstate frequently wear D&M knee pad protectors 897 and elbow protectors 1017 during games.
