Seoul, March 26 – WaveWear announced the official launch of its new premium calf sleeve, developed in collaboration with global sportswear brand DESCENTE.

This collaboration marks the first co-developed product between the two brands, combining WaveWear’s proprietary taping technology with DESCENTE’s design expertise. A key highlight of the product is the integration of reflective film technology, specifically designed to enhance safety in night running environments.

The WaveWear calf sleeve incorporates patented silicone sports taping technology, providing support to the calf muscles while helping to reduce fatigue. The design also delivers firm compression and a secure fit, ensuring stability during long-distance running, jumping, and high-intensity activities.

At the core of this collaboration lies optimization for night activity. The reflective film applied to the exterior of the sleeve effectively reflects vehicle headlights and external light sources, significantly improving visibility and safety for runners exercising in dark environments. This function directly addresses the growing demand for night running and outdoor sports, offering a differentiated solution for safety.
